Mike is the son of Rick & Dona McGraw. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a minor in Russian Studies. After graduating, he worked as a loan officer for the Bank & Trust Company in Litchfield, Illinois where he was responsible for analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and making final decisions on loans.
In 2007, Mike began working for McGraw Enterprises, Inc. in the McDonald’s Restaurants. He started by learning each station, such as the grill area, fries, and front counter, and then followed by entering the Management Development Program. Once Mike had completed the necessary management training and had attended Hamburger University, he entered the Next Generation Program through McDonald’s Corporation , which is specifically designed for training the sons and daughters of current McDonald’s owners. There are multiple requirements that must be met as part of the Next Generation Program, which include managing a McDonald’s Restaurant and becoming thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects including:

Mike has developed a real passion for McDonald’s and definitely has demonstrated that the McGraw family has “ketchup in their blood.”
Today, Mike is the primary owner in five of the family’s nine restaurants along with Rick & Dona
